@Dovefromabove Anytime - There's always rosé in the fridge! And a white! And some Prosecco. The pâté was made by my neighbour's (who work at the hospital) mum who lives in Auvergne.
We have strong winds which have driven away a 3-day cold mist, so there are finally clouds in the sky and sun and enough blue to get those sailor's trousers - at least - mended!
Christmas may not be merry for many of us who have persevered through difficulties but I hope it will be bright. At least in spring we can have tea or drinks outside with others.
Haven't done what I said I'd do earlier, change of plan. It wasn't raining this morning so I've emptied the compost out of the 7 big pots I'm taking to the new house, I've dug up and potted up rose Crown Princes Margareta (she was being eaten by deer), and I've finished cleaning out the horse shed.
Now I'm off to make chocolate mousse and lemon tart to take to Daughter 1 tomorrow.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Work is over for a few days!!! (I hope) Its an easy supper tonight - pizza and wine. Planning a PJ day tomorrow with a roast in the evening.
Merry Christmas to all the ‘forkers’ 🎄🎄🎄 I love our little group and the chats we have. Thank you for your company, kindness and conversation this year.
Thank you @AuntyRach for all you do, and all your colleagues across the country. Have a Merry Christmas, heaven knows you deserve a rest. Happy Christmas to all the other Forkers. I know I've not been here much this year but I do read more often than I post so I'm mostly keeping up, and I know it's been hard for everyone and particularly dark for some. A very strange year. Let's hope 2021 is a lot less 'interesting'. Love and light to all of you
