Morning - a bright but chilly 1C start for us today. No idea what the day will bring. Probably going to order some more smart plugs as the trial ones I got the other day are a success.

Will have a go at the Wednesday quiz in a bit.

Afties all. I have got to take a break from card writing but I have finally got the bulk of them done now. Has anyone else come across a name in their card list that they can't recognise? Weird or what?
I would have loved a short time in the garden but it has been persisting down all morning so I couldn't even use that as an excuse to avoid the cards!

Very cold here last night. Had to scrape the windscreen on the car for the first time this year. Not the best job at 5am.

Evening Pauline. No, I can imagine. I wouldn't like to have to do that. My hands would seize up. Luckily my last car and this new one have heated front windscreens so defrosting is not a problem.

  • Evening everyone, very quiet on here today.
I've had trouble with my phone, WhatsApp has gone wrong for some reason. Can't send messages or open to read ones I've received.
Have written a few more cards and ordered a few pressies on line.
Goodness Pauline, that was an early start.  Bet you were glad to get into your car and put the heater on. 😨
Hope everyone has had a good day.

    Good evening all:
Weekend can finally start. After beautiful day yesterday, today is awful. High wind and so cold. SM shopping went well, and I got everything from my list. Now is time for tv, tea and relax.

LB, you finished a lot of christmas cards. I didn't even bought my yet. Two days ago I asked in post office for cards, and lady which work there just give me weird look. Obviously, too early for her.

SGL, sorry to hear about phone problem. You also was busy with writing cards.

Afties all. I've been writing cards (mind numbing!) and discovered that I may be short of some. I'll pick some up at 'sco. The weather has been shocking today but I checked the GH earlier and I've taken some geranium cuttings. Fingers crossed they all take as they are such a cheery red.
