Re-potted a few things earlier. Some were more pot-bound than I thought so should be more comfortable for the winter Maybe I should repot myself All the rose cuttings are looking good and quite a few of the other attempts are showing signs of life as well
Been a bit wet and miserable but also got a track session in earlier.
Too early for any card-writing or decorations for me. None of that until after I sort my car insurance on 12th Dec. A strange trigger, I know I like the sound of Croatia @Ante in that respect - I would fit in!
Good night Ante. See you tomorrow. Biglad, I am impressed that you mention getting a track session in. Are you a runner? Apart from the fact I wouldn't ever want to go out in the rain, running was not for me - apart from round the squash and badminton courts.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Good morning all. It's freezing and windy outside. I'll go to cottage soon. Just need some carrots and potatoes. Up there is below zero, so I'll be back quickly. Biscuits are baked and now is turn for bread baking.
@Biglad, you are most than welcome. Two families from London are living here over ten years. I have one ace in the sleeve to lure you here. We have around 300 sunny days in the year. đ
Good morning everyone .Ante wrap up warm ,we donât want you catching cold in those sub zero temperatures .I love home made bread .Itâs very cold here but not sub zero .
Good Morning Ante & Rubee and all to follow, Ante That fresh bread and homemade biscuits will be a real treat on your return from the cottage, Rubee I hope you have a good day, are you still knitting those lovely little decorations? LB Glad you enjoyed the rugby, it sounds like you had the all the right atmosphere going đ Have a good day everyone.Â
Good morning all, busy few days at work but all good here I decided to put up my trees as I feel very frustrated not being able to do any of my usual festive stuff or finalise any plans for December. I wonât buy cards in supermarkets as I think they already have an unfair advantage over little shops so waiting until card shops reopen to buy mine. I have found several boxes of cards which mom bought last year but wasnât able to use so itâs just my âspecialâ cards I need. Moms cards are not really my taste but they are beautiful expensive cards so I wonât waste them.Â
Weather here dry and cold so off to allotment in a while to do some weeding.Â
Graham is quieter now hoping he will hibernate as it worries me when he is awake and active but not eating.Â
