Afternoon - back home after a quick run out to buy bread and Christmas cards. Of course, a few other things fell into my basket on the way round the SM - always happens when I go to a different retailer - simply because they have different products and offers.

LB - very best wishes your cousin's op goes smoothly and without any further delays. Do you know how long he will have to stay in for? A bit miserable if it's a long stay and he's not allowed visitors - but worth it in the long run.

Might cut down the autumn fruiting raspberries this afternoon - it's very mild out there today

Thank you Chive, I’m just back from a walk with dad.  Fairly quiet out, a man with his poodle and Jack Russell, a young woman filling up the wooden library bureau for all to use.  Yorkshire Water have filled in the whole just on the grass at the side of a long path near the high school.  I can hear a lot of laughter from beyond the gates.  Back for a cuppa and to be with Alfie.
  • Sorry bit late with the tea!
  • I had to pop out to W'rose needed to get something for OH to give to a friend for his birthday.  I had a look at Christmas cards while I was there, as I need a few more. They were awful. Didn't like the pics on the front at all or the feel of the card😞  Then came straight home. Will have to look somewhere next week when the shops open.
It's been a lovely sunny day here today.
Good news about your cousinLB, hope all goes well.
Time for that cup of tea......and maybe a biscuit 😉

    Good evening.
I finally got free time to appear here. It was two hard days at school, and I was at cottage today. Didn't read back, but will do it tonight.

SGL, beautiful photo, and it's also time for my cup of tea.

Evening all. SGL, I know what you mean about some cards. Its important that you, yourself likes them. Ante, feet up tonight, hug a mug and stay warm. I've just pottered about today. Didn't feel motivated to do much but I did check the greenhouse and filled the bird feeder in the back garden. There was a very cold wind outside and then it started raining again I've been working on our collage too.
