Yvie, I am so sorry to hear about Merri. I do hope that she gets some help soon.
Last night, I heard from my Bestie that her son and daughter-in-law have tested positive for Covid 19. It started with them losing their senses of taste and smell and then they developed coughs and 'flu-like symptoms. Son works as an IT technician in a secondary school and DIL works for Age UK. Naturally they are both in isolation now and are doing as well as can be expected. Their little girl tested negative. Bestie (child minder) has gone into isolation too until November 17th and she is keeping her fingers crossed that her Mum will be OK.
Ante, I know that you will enjoy your trip to the cottage so have a lovely day! By the way that is a monster garlic crop - at least you will be safe from the vampires!

Good Morning LB, Ante & Lily and all to follow, lovely bright start today, LB I’m sorry to hear about besties family what a worry, hope they soon recover. Ante Have a lovely afternoon at the cottage, making up for the lost time now, Lily You needed to catch up on some of your sleep, if there’s any tea going use please ☕️☕️ Yvie Sorry to hear of your Merri’s suffering I hope the consultant will be able to help, best wishes to her. Hope you all have a good day.
Probably not much gardening today as I'll be out with football for a few hours. Can you believe that the FA are allowed to justify referees continuing to officiate on matches by saying it is a job I expect the contract, holiday pay, minimum wage, paternity leave, pension, etc. will all appear retrospectively soon
Apologies - I think there might be another more appropriate thread for that
Morning Ruby, Chive and Biglad. Biglad, it is amazing how blurred some of the edges of the rules of lockdown can become. Its no wonder we all end up befuddled. If you have the weather I have (at the moment) it should be a great day for football so you enjoy your day.
