Morning LB, Hazel, Chive and Lily.  Lily sorry you’ve been feeling down.  I’m glad you enjoyed your walk.  I over slept yesterday but I’m up early this morning.  Chive and Ante have a good day at school.  I could see the children walking towards school this morning wearing their masks.  LB a moving picture.

    Morning all,

Lovely sunny day here. Got some potting up to do this morning and then a few other jobs. OH and eldest are working from home so I have to tiptoe around and stay out of the way ;)

    Humpty Trumpty is marvellous :D

Hello all, back from mini break which was just what we needed. Having new radiator fitted in kitchen today which has highlighted an issue with the boiler! Houses!! Can’t be fixed until Monday but nothing too serious. Floor man will be here on Tuesday so we need to be out all day I think. I just keep thinking “ it will be lovely when it’s done”
We had booked for the Van Gogh interactive experience on Tuesday but that’s now been postponed so will hope for a dry day and some time at the allotment.
  • Afternoon All, quite a chilly day but bright again,
Hazel that’s a lot of bulbs you’ve planted should have a beautiful display to look forward to next year,
Rubee your picture earlier was hilarious 😂 hope you are feeling more human now,
Rosie Handy to get your poppy from the big river site and know that it is from the genuine source,
Debs That was a good break for you both and sounded just the remedy for all the stress and worries you’ve endured. Oh no not boiler issues! hope that is straightforward to resolve and it will all look great when it’s finished,
Hope you have a nice evening all,

Hello everyone. My day has been a little like yours Hazel, fine but parky. Well done on getting all your bulbs planted. You deserve a rest now. Welcome back Debs. You're right, your house will be lovely when its done and at least you will be like several others here, in getting your boiler sorted before the worst of the winter arrives. Sorry the Van Gogh ezperience was postponed. I assume you will have another chance when this 4 weeks is over.
I finally got my lavenders potted on into their own homes for the winter. Of the dozen cuttings I took earlier this year, six have really good root systems, five still look fresh but no roots as yet (I replanted them to see if they will still strike). The final cutting was dead. I also repotted an Albizia that I acquired from one of my favourite sellers on the famous auction site. They are all now in the greenhouse to overwinter.

    Good evening all.
Hazel, I hope that you managed to plant all your bulbs without back pain. It's going to be lovely display at Spring.

LB, you was also busy in the garden. I adore lavender.

Debs, I'm glad that you had a nice break. Sorry for Van Gogh experience and good luck with handyman at Monday.

I came home an hour ago. Frozen, but nothing what cup of tea and few biscuits can't solve. It was lovely day at school but visit to cottage was so refreshing. I done a lot of gardening.

Here is the result of my work today. Loads of root vegetables and one cabbage. Root veggies are my favorite.
