    Morning all,

Good day for running and gardening. I'll definitely be doing one and should do the other ;)

Morning all,Ā  Stayed at Secondborn's last night after a lovely meal out with the boys to celebrate her 40th.Ā Ā  It's a beautiful morning and the drive to school was lovely as we travel down lots of winding country lanes.Ā  I've no plans for today, could be out there gardening but I'm still aching from my marathon gardening day on Tuesday.Ā  Hope everyone enjoys their day.

Morning later arrivals. Debs I'm a bit late but I'll have my bacon butty with red sauce please. Your holiday break sounds idyllic! Biglad gardening/running; running gardening? Just run round your garden with whatever implement is required. Hazel, just get a breadmaker - they are cheaper. Yvie - feet up today. You've got weeks available!

  • Good Morning Hazel, Debs & Biglad,
Hazel A bread maker would be a nice thing to have, any news from your electrician?Ā
Debs Oh a bacon sandwich would be welcome, no sauce thank you šŸ˜‹ it sounds perfectly relaxing there,
Biglad Gardening is enough of a workout without adding a run, even then I only go at pottering speed šŸ˜‰
    Have a nice afternoon.Ā

Ante your bread sounds lovely and your pets and birds will be glad of the treats and food.  Hazel yes I hope the lockdown makes a difference too and saves lives.  I think the Spring Oven is around £80. I hope you slept.  Chiveit sounds quite wintry where you are.  LB I hope your weather has improved.  Have a good day.
  • Afternoon everyone, sun is out and it’s a nice bright day,
Hazel Oh that is rude not to return your calls, just a courtesy call to say what’s happening is all that’s needed. I’ve not heard of a Spring oven, will have to have a look now,
LB sorry but my decoration still isn’t quite ready I’m afraid, hope you’ve been outside today playing in the garden,Ā
Rosie it was a more wintry start today but it’s turned out nice now, hope Alfie is getting better now,
Yvie that is good news concerning Gabriel, hope he continues going from strength to strength. Sounds like you had a nice time celebrating your daughters birthday, congratulations on her 40th šŸŽ‚Ā

Chive. I’m Glad the weather improved for you. Ā Alfie’s getting plenty of rest and sleeping a lot, the medication is having that effect on him. Ā He is improving, fingers crossed. Ā I had a walk with dad to get some fresh air and saw a young squirrel in the wood. Ā Hazel the Spring oven looks good in terracotta. Ā Yvie congratulations on your daughters 40thšŸ‘šŸ€

Chive, there is no rush for the decorations. I agree with Chive Hazel, its very rude of the electrician not to reply to you. You sometimes wonder if these people actually want work at all. I was out this morning in the garden Chive. Cutting back a rampant clematis that was engulfing my bird feeding station in the front garden. I then filled the feeders for my feathered friends. It was decidedly nippy out there and my hands were beginning to go into dead spider mode. Anyway, I got it all sorted and a good amount of stuff into the green bin. It has been raining steadily for several hours now so I was glad I got a 'window' to get my garden work finished. Forgot to say yesterday that the roe deer were back in the field behind me. I saw one at first and then later on three others had joined it.
