Ruby, you weren't supposed to find all that! I told Al to hide it away carefully! Now that you and Ante have mentioned it, I think I should get the mystic kettle turned on myself. There is never a wrong time for a cuppa.

Al didn’t do the job properly LB . Some of my shelves and cupboards were stuffed .
  • Evening All,
LB The little people are great! The new intake have settled in well, we are getting to know their characters and they give us a lot of smiles.
Rubee Put your feet up and take it easy you've been a very busy bee,
Ante You are right these dark cold evenings are perfect for hot drinks and cozy nights in front of the tv,
    Have a nice evening everyone.

Night night Hazel. Sweet dreams. Children are very resilient when young because mostly they seem to live in the present and don't worry too much about the future. They are too busy taking in all the new things and experiences. They are such good fun. I remember when a nephew and niece of mine (now both parents themselves) first discovered that I was their Mum's sister. We were on holiday in Austria. I have no idea who they thought I was and why I was on holiday with them but when I told them who I was, they were absolutely astounded and spent the next few days watching us closely. Of course we found it hilarious.

The aforementioned nephew on the same holiday came hurrying back to us as we were sitting by the hotel's swimming pool to tell us:
"Guess what, I've seen some ladies over there and they've only got trunks on!" My brother-in-law nearly fell in the pool trying hard not to laugh.

LB, lovely story. I can imagine have they were spoken between each other and wondered who is that woman. 😂

I came from short walk with my dog. I forgot to mention that I'm allowed have twice a day a half hour walk with my dog. Of course not at the day time, late evening or very early at morning. I didn't use that because my father done the walk every day, but today is cold and windy, so I done it.

  • Goodnight Hazel I hope you have a better nights sleep,
LB Children are great, they have such an open an honest view of what they see, I love the story of your nephew & niece learning about their auntie being related to their mum 😂

Only one guess for the Dingbats,

No 2. The Nights are getting longer?

@star gaze lily Hope you are ok.

Well done Ante. It is hard to get the motivation to go out but having a dog is a very good reason for a walk and the fresh air is good for you.
Chive, I reckon you have solved that one.
