    Afternoon All,
LB I have been lightly trimmed and shaped for the Autumn, not too crazy with the scissors thankfully 😅
Hows the cake doing? I bet it smells delicious 😋

That's good to hear @steveTu. I hope you enjoy!
Glad to hear that you haven't been shorn Chive! The cake is now out of the oven and it does smell delicious. I need to get some more ingredients as I'm making a few more for friends.

Chive , I have been cutting my own hair since the beginning of Lockdown . I razor cut it . The family says it’s ok . Good that you haven’t been shorn. L B l love the smell of fruit cake particularly home made.

  • Glad you're pleased with your haircut Chive. I've got another appointment at the hairdressers next week, think it's Thursday., better check 😉
Cake sounds yummy LB, the smell of a fruit cake is lovely. My mum always made her own Christmas cake, remember the delicious smell wafting through the house 😋😋 and being allowed a stir of the cake and making a wish.....or was that the pudding🤔🤔
The day turned out to be beautiful, bit windy at times, but sunny.

SGL, it was stirring the pudding that we had our wish. I remember the kitchen getting all steamed up when the pudding was being cooked.

    Evening Everyone,
LB Christmas cake has to be my favourite cake, I think it’s all the waiting that makes it such a treat to look forward to,
Rubee You’re very brave cutting your own hair much like Rosie you’ve both honed your skills,
Lily So pleased you’ve got to like using your local hairdresser, saves you the worry of a bus journey now,
    Have a nice evening all.
  • Yes, you're right LB it was the pudding. My mum used to make jars and jars of pickled onions too. There's not a pickled onion anywhere better than hers 😋😋
Aww, yes Chive, I really am very happy with my new hairdresser. She cuts well and so far hasn't been scissor happy. And another bonus apart from being in our village....she's cheaper! 😉
No more waiting for a bus after a haircut. Although before OH was poorly, he'd sometimes pick me up.

    Evening all,

@rubee I've been cutting my own hair since my mother stopped doing it :D

Visited a bank for the first time since Feb this afternoon. Had cash and cheques that needed paying in. Fortunately, I was the only customer so was in and out very quickly. The door was opened for me so I didn't actually touch anything in there  :)
