Evening all, Sorry to hear your news Dove (Hugs). I hope the oncologists can help your brother.
I've been out and about today. Had hair cut this morning and then went for a drive to Arley Arboretum with Bestie. Lovely colour on the trees. Will post some pictures tomorrow.
Rain clouds maybe @Pat E? We’ve got one of those big grey banks of cloud, made yellow by the reflection of the rising sun, just passing in front of us at the moment ... but behind it is blue sky. Looks like a fairly dry day ahead 😊

Morning all/afties @Pat E. Nice cloud for you Glad you had a good outing @Yviestevie. Just what you need. Supposed to be a half decent day here today. Chilly start, but no frost. More tea needed to warm me up

@Dovefromabove everything crossed for your brother's health issues. Sometimes you do wonder what life's all about, so tough at times. Amazing things doctors can do these days, lots of reasons to stay positive yet. Hugs going your way.
@Obelixx, I've seen your PM, I'll look at restaurants today and try and get one booked. I'll let you know when/where. It'll be lovely to meet you. 😁 That'll be 4 people from the forum I've met in the flesh. 😀
@Busy-Lizzie such a lot to worry about, but it's getting ever closer. My friend ended up having to do a virtual completion but all went through on the right day and that had been particularly messy, but they got there in the end. This covid19 situation has certainly impacted on so many strands of our lives either directly or indirectly.
Flower seeds arrived yesterday, lovely packaging and good clear instructions, I'll be happy to put my head down and play with them and ignore the outside world at the moment. I need to get some compost first, I saw some cheap stuff in Lidl but couldn't lift the bag, never any staff to help so I'm going to go to GV, probably better quality for seeds anyway.
Tearoom had a couple of busy spells, we've got a 15 booked in the private dining area for Friday evening and a 14 booked for Saturday, birthday party. Just when I was wondering if evening opening was the right thing to do? There is no where else to go though so there has to be some potential. I've also got Christmas cakes/puddings and mince pies ordered and paid for, so that's good and I've started doing English Sunday Roast, reservation only and that's had a good lot of interest and some bookings - ever onwards - the schools break up on Friday too.
Must go, but hugs to all and positive thoughts to everyone. 😘😘😘

That's a nice wee boost @D0rdogne_Damsel - great stuff. Make hay while the sun shines and all that Re your compost - you don't want rich stuff for sowing at this time of year. I use sieved stuff from the sweet peas or similar, or mix it with it newer stuff

Thank you for the tip @Fairygirl. 😁 I read something about mulching over bulbs in another thread you were helping, I've got a lot of free bark from a friend - does that count as mulch? It's quite chunky, home made as it were. Also another friend says not to put tulip bulbs in until November, would you second that?
