    Morning all - glad you liked my view 🤓.  

    Not so nice today, and rain forecast later 😩.  Meeting up with my sisters for another walk (this should have been our weekend away in Edinburgh).  They are venturing this way and we are going up Black Down - highest point in Sussex.  Great views, but I suspect you won’t be able to see too far today 🥺.

    Pub lunch booked for after our exertions 🍽🍻

    Thank you for the wise words @Fairygirl. Your Snicker's addiction reminds me of an old joke, What has a hazelnut in every bite....? 

    The larger of the the two birthday cakes was a six layer Rainbow Surprise Cake, with a secret stash of sweets hidden inside.

    Hi everyone. Back from shopping. I’m amazed how few people in the grocery stores are bothering to wear a mask.  I don’t like wearing one either, but make the effort. 😡

    more driveway work today. I hope we don’t get heavy rain now before it’s settled. 😳

    Impressive cake. I think the colours alone would have given me a high!

    Now that IS a cake!  :) 

    When she gets home from work, I'll ask my eldest where she got the recipe from @Fairygirl but, basically, all the ingredients of a snickers (apart from nougat, which she had to leave out) mixed in with a two tier sponge cake. A bit like this:-
