Hello Chive. You will be giving Hazel paint envy at this rate. Well done anyway on the progress made. How much longer do you think it will take you to complete your project?

  • Evening LB really đŸ€žđŸ€žđŸ€ž hoping to get the walls finished tomorrow all being well. They have a good base coat of white and now we are using an Ivory colour which needs two coats. The trouble has been it’s a room still very much in use lounge/diner, so trying to do what we can then keeping it habitable for meals just slows progress.
No competition for Hazel & OH here 😊

Fingers crossed that you get at least one coat of ivory on the walls tomorrow Chive. I'm signing out for tonight. All this insurance wrangling has fair worn me out. Hope you got your potatoes trimmed Ante, ready for digging up. See you all tomorrow.

  • Pheww, thats hard LB.
Not been on here this afternoon as weve seen our gorgeous girls and their mummy and daddy today and tomorrow will see my little grandson and his mummy and daddy. Really wish we could see them all together. And as Hazel mentioned things will probably change again next week.
But making the most of this weekend.
  • Hazel take care of your shoulder, is it the side you had your pneumonia jab. That might not gave helped.
OH isn't too bad thank you Hazel, feels rather tired this last week or two, he hasn't slept well either. Really hoping he can see his  oncologist soon, it's been too long now without any check ups
Saying night night too, sleep well everyone

LB this insurance palava has no doubt tired you out.  I hope you have some progress with the next insurer.  Chive, yes I often listen to the radio.  Ante I hope you had a good harvest.  You’re probably sleeping after a busy day.  Lily I’m glad you’ve enjoyed time with your family and hope oh sleeps better.  Hazel hope your shoulder improves soon.  Night night all.
  • Goodnight LB
Hazel, Sorry your shoulder is feeling painful I’ll be happy to help out with my huge roller muscles I’ve developed đŸ’Ș😀
Lily sounds like a lovely weekend spent with your sweet poppets, enjoy the time.
Rosie it’s nice to listen to the radio, hope you get to sleep well,

    Good morning to all!
After few nights I slept well and feel refreshed. Wind is finally stopped so it's very nice and sunny morning. Potato field is prepared for harvest tomorrow. I wanted wait until end of September, but forecast is heavy rain next few days. We desperately need rain now.

LB, your yesterday's experience with insurance was real pita. I hope so that you will sort this tomorrow.

Hazel, rest your shoulder. Take a rest today, possible in the garden if weather allows you.

SGL, I'm glad that you had nice time with girls and their parents. Have a nice time with grandson too. I sincerely hope so that OH will see oncologist soon.

Here is one small autumn harvest from yesterday.

Good morning everyone. SGL you sound like you are having a really lovely weekend and on a slightly positive note regarding your OH and the oncologist, had they thought there was a need to see him they would definitely have been in touch. I know it is nice to just get the OK though. I was always a little apprehensive before each of my check ups for the 5 years after my operation.
