Biglad sending a hug and wishing you well.  Having a quiet day today.  I tried to get an appointment with the gp but fully booked.  I suppose the telephone appointments are unlikely to be cancelled or much less likely.  Chive I hope you have a good day at school and not too stiff after the painting.  LB I hope you have a good day.  It’s quite sunny here, but a cooler night.  Lily enjoy your restful walk.

Back from SM. Still trying to just go once a week on a Monday morning. So far it's been a fairly quiet and relaxing experience but today seemed really busy. Don't know why - maybe just people getting out to enjoy the last of the warmth and sunshine before we descend into autumn.

People have been fairly well behaved in most of the places I've visited-  but I haven't been afraid to say something or give a 'special glare' to anyone encroaching on my personal space. I'd hate to be working and having to use public transport - especially crowded tube trains. Have no idea how (if?) they're managing that problem.

Rosie hope you get a GP's appt soon.

Hello all. My trip to 'sco was uneventful. People all behaving themselves so replenishing my dwindling store cupboard was actually quite a pleasure
@Biglad I agree with all other Rezzers. Your message does not show you to be a 'cold' person, at all quite the opposite in fact. I think we have all had our share of grief over the last few years. Before Covid reared its head, I was thinking that 2020 had a horrible start. I had heard of the deaths of 10 of my ex-colleagues, acquaintances  and friends. I became very aware of my own mortality. We certainly deal with the sadness of loss in our own ways. Some need to mourn for a long time, some have their sad moments but then they move on. Its refreshing that we are all different.

  • Hi everyone,
Just enjoying a cup of tea in the garden. It's been absolutely gorgeous today. Making the mist of it as forecast looks to change tomorrow.
We decided to take the bus to my OH golf club after our lunch and stroll round part of the course. We then sat outside with a nice cool drink. 😉 Then bussed back home. A really lovely afternoon, even saw a few people we know and chatted at a distance.
Now to think of something to eat. 🤔

What a lovely afternoon you have had SGL. I've been doing paperwork (yuk!) BTW I don't think the festive season will be cancelled. All the usual things that can be done will be done. It will just be different, thats all. I've just got to email all my quizzers as I've rung the pub and the quiz is off - for now, and I've cancelled our booking for October 6th. Hey ho, not to worry.

  • Yes it was LB, thank you. Made a lovely change. We've decided that as long as it's still safe to travel on the bus.....today it was almost empty both ways.....and weather permitting, we might do that walk now and again. Felt so safe and peaceful and it really is a beautiful course.
Hope you're right LB, I'd really like to spend some time with poppets over the festive season 🤞🎉

    Good evening all!

Thank you all for crossed fingers. It seems that it function perfectly. One hour after we took last bag inside it start to rain. It's now heavy rain outside.
On the end I got 1.1 t of potatoes and I'm very happy. Now I need proper dinner and lot of rest. Lucky, tomorrow I have only four hours in the school.

This was first half of bags.
