That is indeed a very kind thought @AuntyRach. I have had a Myrtle in the open ground for several years now, grows extremely slowly and is now still only about 3 ft high. Occasionaly it has very pretty small white flowers on it. I really like it.

  • Not something I knew when I got married @AuntyRach :D it also makes a lovely back drop foliage for cut flower arrangements.
Managed to cut the lawn this evening. Raining now.  Hoping its dry tomorrow,  night  night all  :)

  • Think you’ve got a dry morning tomorrow @WonkyWomble 🤞

    Are they there yet @Hostafan1?

Snuggling down with a new book ... night night sleep tight all 🤗

  • Good morning all 😊 ☕️
There was the sound of rain on the westfacing window as I woke but the sky is lightening and the rain seems to have stopped ... for the moment.
Hope @Hostafan1’s family arrived safely and that everyone’s snug and sound asleep after their long journey.

    Morning/afties @Pat E if you're there
That really is lovely @AuntyRach. A truly thoughtful present is also far more valuable than any other kind.  :)
I bet @Hostafan1 is up early - to 'open his presents' :D
Looks like a slightly better day here today, although it isn't really light yet. Couldn't be much worse than yesterday. It was still pouring and blowing a hoolie when I went to bed. Not that I've been there for long - been awake since half three  :/

Tried to get back to sleep, but no luck so I got up. Youngest fairylet was up for work at 4 anyway -not that she's noisy - but I knew sleep wasn't happening!

So that’s why you’re on now, Fairy. I was a bit puzzled when I saw you at that time.🙄

  • Hmm 🤨 the weather app says it’s not raining here at the moment ... it’s wrong 🙄
