We've just taken Grandson for his first trip to the seaside.
    He was suitably underwhelmed.

Yes, he'll love it when he's bigger.

I sorted paint and threw a load of old tins in the trailer but I haven't finished as the trailer is full.
I've been cleaning things that I rarely clean. Have Karchered teak chairs that live outside, cleaned cupboards in the garage that house fertiliser and weedkiller. I wanted a new variable lance for my Karcher and we bought one, only to find the fitting has changed and we need an adaptor.

Evening all,  Had a truly exhausting week both physically and mentally.  Hubby is back tomorrow, hopefully it will help having someone to talk too about things.  Been looking after the boys today, took Jonah to school (he's loving it) and went to pre-school with Gabriel for a couple of hours this morning.  He was a bit aprehensive at first but soon forgot I was there and had a great time.  Secondborn is really busy trying to get her house ready so she can move in, it's really exhausting trying to act as though everything is OK in front of the boys.  Although it's Gabriel's 2nd Birthday today we are celebrating on Sunday when we can all get together.  I don't think Gabriel will notice as long as he gets lots of nice pressies and plenty of Jelly and Cake.
Aching all over today as I fell over as I left Besties house last night (missed the last step in the dark)  no serious damage done just lots of muscle pain.  It never rains but it pours as mum always says.
Glad you are having a lovely time with your Grandson @Hostafan1. Don't forget it's every grandparents duty to spoil their grandchildren rotten.
Hope your chat with your employee sorts things out @D0rdogne_Damsel it can't have been pleasant for you.
Sorry if I've missed anyone out but my brain isn't functioning at the moment.

My daughter and her OH have just sold their house today, it only went on the market yesterday evening. A young couple, first time buyers who have offered the full asking price! They certainly weren't expecting it to sell that quickly. They don't really want to rent but they may have to if they don't want to lose the buyers.
