He's such an Angel. He's not woke us up once. I'm awake and they're all asleep.
I'm NOT looking forward to saying goodbye to them all before I go to work.  :'(

  • Morning all,

    Amazing sunset @Pat E
@Hostafan1 I wish you worked for me, everytime my staff have family visit they book a week off, drives me mad, most of their kids are in their 20's and it leaves me ever so short staffed every few months. You're very loyal to the cause leaving a baby grandson. Hope it's not too long a shift.
Birthday cake to decorate now, second one this weekend.
    Have a good day all.
    P.S. @punkdoc, defence very sensible. 😅

I took Thursday off which is the first time in 7 years I've asked for " a day off" other than pre-booked annual leave months in advance.
I'm leaving just before 8 then they're packing up and heading back to London shortly afterwards to avoid the worst of the traffic.
I hope they come back VERY soon

Lovely to hear you’ve had such a wonderful visit Hosta. It doesn’t always work out as well with little ones out of their comfort zone.

glad you liked our sunset DD.

I’m unimpressed at your success over the last couple of years.

We are currently watching last night’s La Tour which went too late for us and we gave up and went to bed about 1 am.  Pyrenees section. Such scenery!

He's the most contented wee thing. Always happy.
I had in in one of those babyslings yesterday and he just snuggled into my chest and fell asleep for almost an hour as we walked around the beach.

Morning all/afties @Pat E - a chocolate day sounds grand. Lovely pic. The trees silhouetted against the sky is just perfect  :)
Well - what a gorgeous pic @Hostafan1, although you'll be away to work by now. Hope they get back to you again soon. He's a little cheeky chappie  :)
Lovely looking day here - cool and bright. I have some jobs to do outside, so I'll get the washing out, get a walk, and then get on with them. Forecast is poor from tomorrow. If the grass dries out enough, I'll give it a trim. Might be just about the last one for this year.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
