That's good news @floralies, but I hope they can negotiate a reduction in the estate agents fees for such a quick and easy sale.

    Morning all/afties @Pat E if you're around.
    Lovely jubbly @Hostafan1 :)
It's a difficult process @Yviestevie. Keeping things normal is never easy. Plenty of cake will help. :)
Some nice news for your family @floralies. Worth renting for a while - as long as the good buyer definitely is a good buyer.  :)
I missed @chicky's cheeky boat pic yesterday  :D
Dry here just now, but still windy. Think we're getting a similar day to yesterday - bit of everything. Chilly overnight again.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Daughter and OH are moving to the Isle of Wight and are there today, they have four properties lined up so maybe they won't have to rent @Fairygirl. I have a date with the Pharmacy this morning as I have run out of bite cream and the b*****s are finding me very tasty at the moment.

The reason I said that @floralies was because the person who bought our last house was a devious, lying c*w. She stalled and stalled with the whole process, and it was because she hadn't owned the house she was in for a full year. I don't know if it's the same everywhere, but here, you have to have owned the house you're selling for a full year before offering on another. It made it very difficult for me trying to buy as well, because I had to keep stalling too.
I discovered later she was one of those 'all fur coat and nae knickers' kinds of people.  ;)

@Fairygirl: Killer heels, big stupid "hand" bag hanging off her elbow, shouting into her iPhone at arms length. Stalled and stalled and asked endless stupid questions.
Turned out she'd been made redundant and was chasing round looking for a lender.
