    Thanks @Nollie,
    Long or short update?
    OK the long version...
Spent the last month touring Europe, came back home last week and everything is dead :( .

    no worries @Fire,
just lil ol melodramatic me, making a mountain out of a molehill, It's probably not as bad as I make out.
Not really accurate in any case, the weeds have proliferated!
Seriously tho', I have had no time to get out into garden this week, other than some emergency watering on our return last weekend, I am hoping to do so this weekend to assess he damage and salvage what I can.
    I'll update as I go.

I imagine it might have been a tough year for new planting. Did you have locum watering the garden?
  • owd potterowd potter Posts: 979
I thought I did, but the locum had a health emergency and was unable to attend for me.
All of my baskets and annual pots are desiccated and gone. Looks like roses in the ground are covered in dead 2nd flush blooms, but otherwise look OK.
It's the potted roses that I'm concerned for.
3 patio roses are just dry sticks. Doesn't look promising.
I have, or had, Munstead Wood in a pot. The foliage is all dried up and it's covered in masses of dried up buds. Would have been quite a show I imagine.
    Similar story with Kew Gardens.
Hopefully I won't lose them all

  • I've been busy making a little progress on Ph 2 this last week or so.

This little problem needed sorting first,

    Sorted.
