General view of our cottage border. In here currently Munstead Wood, relocated from a pot last year and which hasn't flowered as well this year in the border. Hopefully it is establishing itself and will improve on year. there are also a trio of tea rose cuttings, Rose de Rescht, Rhapsody in Blue both added last year and Tuscany Superb now 2 years old on my home made support It has flowered for the first time this year and I have discovered my favourite bloom form, I am completely besotted by it and can't get enough I am working to develop this bed to expand the planting and introduce more older type roses.
PERGOLAS: Top: Rear of structure, Toyah an unidentified existing rose. Front of structure, Generous Gardener & Falstaff, both now into year 3. GG & Toyah now beginning to form a canopy Middle: Ghislaine de Feligonde, year 3 also and romping up the structure Lower: Adelaide d'Orleans, newly planted last autumn, but set to become a favourite with it's beautiful semi double fragrant flowers
It's not been for nowt @owd potter, a lot of us have seen and appreciated your roses. You must have kept your photos on your laptop or somewhere. Will you be coming to Gardeners Corner and posting them there?
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Thanks @Busy-Lizzie, It's difficult to put a finger on it. I guess it comes down to the time invested in the creation of something and it's evolution. The loss of continuity? I have registered at GC so I could continue my thread there I guess. Maybe.
Do make a thread there documenting from this spring...so wish they'd keep all the depth of information on this site but what can you do we are just providing content for a commercial entity.
