It's raining (lightly) hurrah - so time for a (hot!) shower now.
Guess what? After 2 weeks of waiting and 4 or 5 phone calls the printer has finally arrived. John Lewis had been unable to contact the third party supplier so they were as much in the dark about what was actually happening as me. No phone call or text to say it was arriving today (as should happen). Just as well I was in as I think the driver would have been tempted to leave it in the log store where it would definitely have got wet.
It's a big beast and weighs 25kg. I'll have to wait for OH to come home to get it upstairs into the office. Hope there's no problems as I don't fancy trying to repack it or arranging to send it back....

Tell you what T'Bird, that is some beast of a printer. Unless its like one of those 'pass the parcel' prizes and its all the wrapping that makes it so heavy. Definitely let your OH wrangle it upstairs.
