Hmmm SGL. They are not really filling you with confidence are they? Late night delivery last week and late today. Most unfortunate.

I bet you will Hazel. Fingers crossed that these episodes are the last of your bad luck for a long time.

We've just phoned 'sco and apparently the driver run out time! The person on the phoned said he would try to locate our order and phone back.
He's just phoned back and said it will be delivered sometime between 6 and 11 o'clock. My OH told him we wanted it much earlier than 11 and would put in a complaint. The chap on the phone did the complaint for us and we are now waiting on another phone call!

Don't seem to have done much today beyond picking raspberries, having a coffee with my neighbour and a little bit of paperwork. I could believe it's not quite so wild out there just now - but still incredibly windy and not enticing to go out and cut the grass! Maybe tomorrow.

Sorry to hear about your leak Hazel. Wonder how long it's been doing that. Water can make an awful mess can't it? We loved our previous plumber. Very old school with copper pipes and soldering - he didn't trust the plastic compression joints. Both a well respected local builder and I were very sad when Ivan retired a few years ago - never met another tradesman who took quite so much pride and care in his work.

SGL what a PITA for you. That is not good publicity for 'sco is it? There could have been something vital in that order that you had urgent need of.

Haven't heard anything back yet LB.  Yes definitely a PITA, especially as we are on the priority list!
Fortunately we are ok for food, but they don't know that.

Sorry to hear about your leak Hazel, but so pleased everything is sorted. You have had a lot going wrong these last few weeks, hope everything now improves for you🤞🤞
Think 2020 has been a complete PITA in every way for everyone.
Glad you had a lovely evening LB

Just had a phone call from ' sco sending their apologies and that our delivery is just leaving and should be with us in 30 minutes at the latest. We're at least 30 minutes away from 'sco......

Shopping delivery arrived at 10 past 8. Two very apologetic men arrived with everything packed very neatly in bags. Looked to me like a repicked shop on special delivery to me. Never seen the shop packed so well, plus two delivery men!
All safely ticked off and put away
    Night night everyone
