I grow cut & come again salad leaves and get several cuttings from the coriander before it goes to seed. The lettuce, however, is a Butterhead type so I usually harvest that as the whole plant.
The extreme temps a few days ago really made everything run to seed. I didn’t realise lettuce flowers resemble small dandelion heads until today....
