Evening all, I've been at Firstborns all day looking after Merri and Mabel.  Tomorrow it's a Jonah and Gabriel day so another early get up.
I have two tomato plants and one of them has blossom end rot although they have been treated exactly the same.  We have loads of Roma toms but they are all still green.  We sowed the seeds a bit late, I hope there is enough sun to ripen them.
I think you have to be quite brave to home school @Liriodendron not sure I could have given it the necessary commitment.  Hope things go well for your daughter and her family.
Hope you feel better soon @WonkyWomble
Not keen on rats either @Lizzie27

Ferdiddled down here all day 💦💦💦

We chose to go to the tip - two journeys- to get rid of our lock down accumulations.  Turned out to be a very good move, as noone else fancied it in the lashing rain.  Noone that is apart from one other guy who came over to us - turns out that it was him who sold us our trusty landrover 3 years ago.  He came over to see how it was 🤣🤣🤣. Funny how Old landrover owners build an affinity with their vehicles. He and Mr C chatted valves, bearings, chassis etc, whilst I emptied said beast of its rubbish 😜

Came home and one of our neighbours (runs a landscaping company) brought his digger round and dug out the space where Mr C is building the dry stone wall to match our new steps.  Ten tonnes of stone arrive on Friday .....that’ll keep us busy for a while.

Just had a zoom call with two of my friends who have arrived home from France and Spain and are now quarantined - they are finding the most difficult thing is not being able to leave the house for exercise.  One has rowed so much on her son’s rowing machine that she is now approaching NewYork 🚣🚣🚣 Funny old world.

Lizzie,27, so the rat screamed and swore, I expect you scared the life out of it.  I love rats, mice (as pets) smell rats dont, we have had some lovelly rats over the years.

I have a son with serious mental issues, depression, he had 3 recently 2 died, he was really upset, he lives alone, finds interaction with people very difficult, Lives in a second floor flat, so cannot have a cat or anything, the rats have been his lifeline with sanity.
