Will do @WonkyWomble ... I’ll stay out of the studio until the sun’s around the other side of the house. šŸ˜ŽĀ

    Just for you @Fairygirl

Had a very relaxing day yesterday šŸ–. Ā Today is about visiting Dads. Ā But need to water the pots and greenhouse first.

if anyone finds an effective moth treatment then please let me know 😳

Sandalwood anti-moth balls and rings for your hangers. Ā So far so good here and they’ll last for years cos you just have to rub them with sandpaper every year or so to get the smell back.Ā

Our problem is more our carpets than our clothes .....but maybe I could try those under the sofas. Ā Thanks šŸ‘šŸ»

Morning all/afties Pat. Unpleasant news for your family and @floralies.Ā
Those of us who are healthy need to remember to count our blessings, and not forget how hellish it can be for others. Thinking of you both and hoping things improve for you all.Ā
@WonkyWomble- not a lot of room, but the girls are both away tonight so their beds are free for a few hours.Ā  Sofa's quite comfy, albeit small, but it doesn't stop me snoozing on it on a regular basis. I spent several years sleeping on it too, so it's fineĀ  ;)
It's much cooler up here, but it'll still get too hot for me. It's quite cloudy and hazy just now, but the sun's getting through now and again.

Och - is that the best you could do @chicky? I was expecting something like Hampton Court Palace.....must try harder....Ā  :D
Glad you had a nice day. It looks nice and quiet too.
I don't have any moths eating stuff. Maybe I don't have the right kind of clothes.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Or maybe too cold and wet for them up your way @Fairygirl.

I like beaches for walking on - till I developed a stupid knee - or just sitting watching the waves and birds so definitely not a place I go in the holiday season if I can avoid them.Ā  I used to enjoy our hols on the north Tuscan coast when Possum was a mermaid but only because it was a civilised beach with showers, loos, cappuccino on tap and a cabin to store all the beach gear so no carting stuff back and forth every day.Ā  Very pleased when she switched to riding hols in France and we tagged along and explored while she was busy with horses and the gang from our horsey neighbours' riding school.

OH says he's having a day off from the garden.Ā  Don't blame him.Ā  Expect he'll watch golf all day.

All the back garden has had a good soaking ... it should be able to cope with the heat ok now. The front garden was given a soaking yesterday evening and doesn’t get sun until later in the day so hopefully it’ll be ok.Ā
I’ve made a potato salad and a lemony mayo and washed a Cos lettuce and radishes ... we have a jar of albacore tuna, anchovies, a couple of hardboiled eggs and some dressed flageolet beans Ā ... a sort of Salade Nicoise will be served for supper ... possibly on the terrace ... šŸ¹ Ā šŸ¹Ā

We went round onto our shady terrace for coffee but even there it was too hot and oppressive so definitely indoors for the rest of the day. Managed to find some moth deterrent in Leclerc which smells strongly of ceder wood which is fine if you can get rid of the larvae in the first place. At least we don't have them in carpets here @chicky as we only have tiles, that must be a nightmare.Ā Ā  :#

I have to confess I didn’t even build that one .....I had to bribe a small child with flattery to let me take a pic 🤣
