Tips for planting a summer garden - Saga
A very good morning to one and all. Looking forward to visiting the rellies today. Lots to talk about. Got to arrange for my nephew to come and finish the gate for me.
Eek, I have just seen a mouse in my kitchen! Lily is getting the sack!

    A lovely photo; thank you.

I had eleven cats at one house and a plague of mice.... A wiser person said they were not in the right room... I pity anything that moves here with my present felines.

Just dropped in. The "life threatening medical emergency"   hospital "excursion" has triggered a bad episode/ relapse of the M.E, At my advanced age ( nearly 80 years) I resent the waste of precious time but nothing I can do - or very little. A kind friend has ordered more knitting yarn from Springwools in Dublin and they always add interesting oddments from the "charity box" they keep in the shop so I will be able to knit abed against next winter's sales.  They are wonderful folk who have supported our work for  many years  Also I am determined to keep my weblog alive ( islandanchorhold.blogspot.com)so that will be as much as I can manage. Stay safe! Stay well! Will drop in when I can. Stay well!

Sorry to hear that you are suffering a relapse Island. I've done more knitting through this latest patch of rainy weather. It helps to keep the arthritis at bay. By the way, there is no need for you to keep 'quoting' in this thread. Just go straight for making a comment otherwise we just get 'repeats' of pictures and posts which are unnecessary. That rose is sumptuous!

Morning Rubee, LB, Island and all to follow.
Much better nights sleep thank you Rubee, think the cooler night helped and being so tired from a few sleepless nights. Still woke at just after six with the birds singing, but did not off again for awhile.
Lovely flower photos LB and island. Pretty colour rose.
Seems a lot cooler today, very cloudy and a light breeze. Our weather is very weird, last Monday it was pouring down and so very windy it was like late October. Friday it was so hot it was like being abroad.
Doing a few indoor jobs, then hoping the weather perks up so we can relax in the garden.
    Have a good day everyone

    Good morning to all.
LB, beautiful photo. Don't be angry on Lily, she needs also vacation, and it's hot to catching mices. Have a nice time with rellies.

Island, lovely rose. Yellow is my favorite garden colour. I didn't rest well last night but now is slightly better outside and it's windy. Yesterday we were the warmest town in Croatia, 38℃.

It's feeding time and my dog is quite confused.

    Morning Hazel and Chive.
Thanks for the kind words. We made agreement that he will buy once a week my veggies.

I'm feeling much better now. I can tell you what happened to me last Tuesday. I already told LB and she was a great comfort.
Few months ago I adopted two kittens, brother and sister. They were ill and I managed to save them and they was growing well. I always double check when I'm going out with car from my yard. Last Tuesday little one, girl, jumped under my car and wheels. I ran over her and she was instantly dead. I feel such a guilt. Never done something like that before and it was a shock for me.
