Hello and welcome @islandanchoress. If my groceries arrive on Saturday morning by ferry I'll not be a bit surprised the amount of rain I'm getting! I'm digging out the ark plans again:

Funny! I always wonder why the ocean never overflows with  all the rain we get in Ireland. Where are you?

Hello @islandanchoress and welcome! Where abouts are you hailing  from? Ferry, island?

Its pouring with rain here now, sun has come and gone. Plenty to do indoors though, need to catch up on jobs.

I live on  a small offshore Irish island; as in West Mayo. Utterly spoiled  really as all I do is email a list and the shopping appears at my gate... once you get used to the wrong things sometimes arriving...Nearly four years out here  and I love it.

The sun is just breaking through and the garden is almost steaming.

Lovely visit fromMaisie and family baby George is just taking his first steps bless him. No peace for Mom and Dad when he is fully mobile!
Good news earlier as fiancé has managed to get one of the loans offered by the government, it’s not mega bucks but will help keep the wolf from the door until he can find work.

Sounds like you have had a wonderful time Debs. First the visit from the family and little people are so very cute when learning to walk and then the news for your fiancé. All very positive things.
