Morning all/afties Pat if you're there. Great set of photos @steephill. They need to get a room... Do you do videos on Youtube? I'm sure other people would enjoy them if you did. Another bright looking day, but lots of black clouds around. Yesterday was nice once the smirr went away. Good and breezy for the washing. Finished my bee house. Hope the little sods appreciate it. They've been very busy round the sweet peas this morning. Not quite as big and bold as steephill's visitors, but it's lovely to have them, especially when doing a bit of deadheading and all you can hear is them buzzing. Good luck with the machine @chicky. You don't realise how much you rely on it until it's kaput. Has he 'filed it' in the bin @Obelixx?Â

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Who knows @Fairygirl but since March and with all the decorating and gardening the neck needs more than an "aside" as it's not just the trapezius any more so not too bothered at having to get a new prescription.  Pics of the bee hotel?
@Dovefromabove - can you lend me your OH? So busy making new beds and moving the nursery and tending the pots that the weeds have gone wild in the ruin and rose beds. That's the thanks you get for watering in new plantings.  A whole bunch of opportunists!
I now have a hole on the terrace after deciding the last of the Japanese maples would look and feel better in the shadiest corner of the barn bed.  Pot shuffling later on then.
Meanwhile, the under gardener has finally got his big strimmer working so is making hay with long grass and weeds/wildflower we'd left for the birds and insects.  Gone dry and tatty now.
Morning all, a lovely day here, not too hot but nice and sunny. I've been out planting a couple of heucheras, moving a carex and planting a mahonia caberet. A bit of deadheading and cutting back (a job that seems never ending). I've been taking more photos with the phone, hoping I've ironed out yesterday's problems. It was taking short videos instead of photos. Just have to get it to auto connect to the car and I'll be all sorted. Glad you're feeling a little better @punkdoc
I took one yesterday @Obelixx, so I'll jiggle it onto the 'pooter and post it later. I need to remove some plants from the little spot it's going in under the conifer. Is that a new variety of Mahonia @Yviestevie? Hope all is going well with the sale @Busy-Lizzie. At least getting rooms emptied is a big step forward. Rain has come and gone, so I might go and plant my clems, deadhead the dianthus and maybe sort the bit for the bees new residence. Am I the only person here who never really does any weeding? I suppose having ground cover everywhere makes it easier Â

@Hostafan1, the documentary featured many bands that had stayed at what was the first residential recording studio in the UK.
Think I am now fit enough to attempt some weeding.

Daughter and family have gone shopping, then we'll spend the afternoon around the pool. It's very hot.
@Obelixx, my 4 children came and cleared their bedrooms during the lockdown, but some haven't quite finished yet.
