I had an Aunt who lived in Bournemouth & spent a couple of long summer holidays there with my cousin, but that was a very long time ago.
@punkdoc I am not sure what is worse because there are other reports from China of people being re-infected (swab positive) but showing no symptoms. Their antibodies are protecting them, but the big question is are they shedding virus & can they transmit silently?

Afternoon all. I hope Sunday is treating you well. Just trimmed Yew hedge at front of house - hot work so going to have an ice cream now 🍦

Too very hot to garden today so I faffed about sorting out paperwork and researching stuff then decided to have a clean and tidy in the pantry.  Had the bright idea of blitzing a large bag of whole, dried, Kashmiri peppers.  Despite leaving it to settle there was enough fine dust floating up when I transferred it all to a jar to give me a serious sneezing fit and make may face sting.   Still tingling after a good wash!

Cool enough now to go and plant a salvia and some nigella while dinner cooks.

Hope those who wanted it have had some sun.  Happy to swap a day or two of ours for some decent rain as soon as I've finished planting out that new bed.

Oh no, just when it had quietened down, there is now a party in full swing across the street!

Romance is in the air tonight. Our roe doe has an admirer keeping a close eye on her, a very handsome three point buck which we haven't seen before. The roe deer mating season is now in July and is very amusing to watch - the doe leads the buck in a merry dance round the garden in tight circles and figures of eight. He has been foot stamping and taking out his frustration on small trees giving them a good thrashing with his horns. Not good for our fruit trees though as they fuel themselves for their adventures but it is an amazing privilege to be able to observe this close up.

    Glad you survived @Hostafan1.

For any music fans, I urge you to watch Rockfield, The Studio on the Farm, possibly the best music documentary I have seen. It should be on i-player.
