You're a clever chap @Hostafan1 so I'm sure you could make one or just rig up a roll down net with ties or weights or, indeed, a water scarecrow.

It's flies for me.  They seem to think I'm very tasty but leave OH alone and because they've already been feeding on horses and cows I get bad reactions to their bites and they also leave bloody (literally) poos on my furniture and window frames.   Bloody nuisance!   I'm going to have to consider flyscreens for our 2 main doors after all as they stay open most of the day.   Insect spray for gardening.

Chin up @Lizzie27 - you're not in a zimmer frame are you?   Happy birthday.

I have 2 cats of my own plus 2 dogs and loads of more or less feral farm cats next door and never any poo in the polytunnel.   Not that that's any consolation to you @Hostafan1 - maybe you need to consider a mesh gate to let in air and pollinators but not cats?
The doors are 10ft wide. that'd be a big panel.
Maybe cat owners should be held legally responsible for the damage their animals cause?
Interesting idea... But mesh is the only way. I had trouble with badger poo at one rental, not cat.  You sure it IS cats?

Interesting idea as enforcement would be. Are you sure it is cat dirt? Only they usually bury it. Not like eg badgers who mark their trails. I never see any from mine and I have six, cats not badgers!

Why do friends send birthday cards (which is lovely) and then proceed to tell you all about how ill they've been and now they've got a zimmer frame because their hip has collapsed. My friend is the same age as me! I felt horrified when I read that this morning and have been quite depressed ever since, it's rather ruined my birthday.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY and HUGS... And they know you have a kind heart..

" cats usually bury their dirt ( or shit ) " is a total myth. I've seen cats shit on recently mown lawns and just walk away.

Ask the owners to make sure their pet is wearing a mask when it's using your garden facilities https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-53552557

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
