Two farmers in our village are noted for their ‘industrial’ language which was being inadvertently picked up by a toddler near us. “Granny, granny,” she said excitedly, “come and look at the f*****g lambs.”

    Bless.....!!!!

The rave last night has apparently hit the national news. Allegedly 3000 people + 10 policemen who considered the situation and decided not to do anything about it because it was dark and wet and somebody might have got hurt. Oh dear.  If the 190,000 + inhabitants of Bath who were kept awake all night (apart from us!) had got to them, they'd have been lynched. The noise was heard from Bristol apparently. They obviously had never heard about the pandemic.

I know there's much more  important things going on in the world but it really pisses me off when people try to grow a tree in a tiny pot and wonder why it dies

Ha!!  I could say the same for people who don't prune a group 3 clem in spring and then complain it's got too big!

I'm totally fed up with the stupid BBC3 adverts flashing away on this site when I use our desktop. I can't install an Ad blocker as we share the machine and it interferes with our security system. Why would anybody on here want to watch little tots TV?

Lovely example of 'Industrial language' on Countryfile last night.  Adam was at a farm which is at the centre of the fight to save the Suffolk Punch as a breed.  Adam asked the farmer what makes a perfect Suffolk Punch.  He said it would have the face of an angel, a chest like a brewers belly (or something like that), and the arse of a farmer's daughter.
His obviously long suffering daughter was stood beside him at the time and said everybody looks at her whenever he says that.
