I think the future is different. Covid will have scared large companies who saw their workforces, and businesses shot to pieces around the world, so the push towards 'true' AI will increase. The required workforce will then diminish anyway. Where that leaves economies around the world, who knows. AI will be a global pandemic where every country will have to reassess what it means to be human and part of a society. What happens when wealth is earnt completely by a machine? Who owns the wealth and how does that wealth get distributed throughout society are major concerns that will need to be faced within a decade or two.

High tax on AI produced products to provide income for the redundant humans.
People on very low incomes spend very little. Increasing purchasing power, building houses etc has a knock on effect.

Can’t speak for the others but I put asterisks in the name of the online sales company and similar  so that it doesn’t get picked up by the many bots patrolling the internet and added to some list (which may or may not exist) of its ‘mentions‘, or included in the answers to Searches.
It's funny you said that on the same day that the grass mat company guy seems to have found an old thread mentioning his company.

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I don't doubt that for a second. Some on this site seem to look for conflict everywhere.
    Ignore them.
