Morning SGL and Chive. I have to say that it is STILL raining here. Chive, I've seen both parents taking food into the nestlings and because I'm worried about scaring them off I am keeping well clear of the nest. They have had to deal with toasty, windy, rainy weather so you can only have deep admiration for these tiny creatures who seek food tirelessly to look after their family. The two adults are starting to look distinctly tatty now.

LB Yes I can understand you not wanting to disturb them, they have dealt with some extreme weather poor parents there is no let up for them is there 🙂

Morning everyone. Yesterday was very pleasant  ,OH has lots of gifts , mostly books . It’s not a birthday in this house  without books. Lily tea and toast sounds good .Chive enjoy your day .LB I hope you get a chance to see the little birds as they leave the nest . It would be nice to see some sun .

Good morning all, pretty awful day at work yesterday with arguments between staff members very unusual for our workplace I think wearing visors constantly is having a very negative effect hope today is better.
Rubee glad your OH had a good day I agree about books, not a proper birthday without them.
LB are you able to feed the dunnocks? Weather is set to improve here hope yours does too.
Fiance has day off but has had to go out to return undelivered parcels from yesterday. He has to do 20 drops an hour it’s not easy, especially when people are out and there’s nowhere safe to leave stuff.
Sun is trying to shine here so off to allotment before work

    Morning!

Had a nurse round to give me an injection. Yaaaaaay.

But I'm having apple crumble for breakfast so it's all good!

LB I’m glad mr and mrsdunnock are able to feed their young in these recent wild weather conditions.  I think it’s wise to keep your distance.  My sister visited yesterday and then I made tea and then went for a lay down and didn’t wake up until the following morning.  Wishing you all a good day.
