Afternoon All, it’s turned into a breezy day,
Debs I hope the atmosphere at work improves it doesn’t help morale if there is upset between colleagues.
Hazel Im sure you’ll find something to tempt you in the GC. Lucky you with your hairdresser appointment, mine still hasn’t been in contact she’s going to need a hedge trimmer 😀
Chey Apple crumble for breakfast yum,  a well deserved treat after having your injection done,
Rubee A Good book does make a nice gift, your OH will enjoy his new read.
Rosie you must have needed that extra sleep yesterday, hope you have a good afternoon,
Debating what to do next, have a nice afternoon everyone.

Afties all. Having watched the wretched rain all day, I have pottered about in the house. This is not something I would choose to do but nature confined me. Debs, the dunnocks use the bird feeders and pick out the bits they want but they come back to feed the family with lots of wriggly things too.
Chey, I'm glad that you had the nurse do your injection today. Please tell me that you flew round the room making rude noises like a punctured balloon - I need a smile
Rosie, I'm glad that you got a good long sleep, that will help you feel more refreshed. Mind you, you will probably be awake all night tonight.
Chive the wind is blowing a hooley here. It looks proper Autumnal outside.Good news is that my laptop is ready and is just waiting for the courier to pick it up, my refund from T&M (curses and profane words!) has been paid back into my account and the nice man from Ringtons Tea called with a basket full of goodies. I did purchase some chocky biscuits. Cannot believe it was a fortnight since his last visit.

I wonder what Hazel has bought at the GC today. I still don't have any inclination to go yet.

    Good evening to all.
I popped in to say hello and ask how are you all. I have so many things to do and to catch up with my sister. Weather is still hot but this morning we had  a proper summer shower. We were yesterday at my cottage and had a first decent harvest.

Afternoon LB, Pleased to hear your refund has come through, I feel the same about going to the GC for the time being. The Ringtons tea chocolate biscuits will be a nice treat with your cuppa 😊
Had a busy spell in the garden, cut the grass and dug out a large shrub which didn’t suit the spot opening up the space for the neighbouring plants to fill.

Hello Ante. Love your Sempervivum flower. Here is mine:
I love these plants. Unfortunately I cannot show pictures of any veg yet but yours look wonderful. I could just imagine having some of those new potatoes, cooked with mint and covered in butter. Very yummy! Your beans and radishes look good too. It must be lovely having a catch up with your sister. I hope you both have a lovely weekend.
Chive, I want to remove two shrubs that have gone past their best as I need the room in the border. Once it stops raining I might be lucky!

    Hi LB.
I also love sempervivums. They are so easy to grove. New potatoes are delicious and those red spots in wheelbarrow are strawberries. Photo is little bit blurry.

Ruby, I hope you haven't overdone it? Were the plants huge?
