Evening all. SGL, you will soon feel more confident about your walks and they will become less strange. You live in such a beautiful area that it must lift your's and your OH's spirits. The wind here is gale force and the poor trees outside are being thrashed about. Lots of leaves have been ripped off them. That will be another job for tomorrow.

Thank you LB, I'm sure I'll get there soon. Yes, we are so lucky to have such beautiful walks so close by. And j love sitting on the bench by the duck pond.
We had an SM delivery today....rather strange items not available this time.....shoe polish and  chicken kievs 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
We've had another short shower, probably lasted 15 minutes, if that. Hopefully it will rain tonight.
Very quiet on here today. Hope everyone is well.

It started pouring down here again 20 minutes ago. Its doing the garden good. Maybe my water butts will get filled. I'm watching Springwatch at the moment and looking forward to Gardeners World.

Good morning everyone. Today is the anniversary of D-Day so I decided to use a picture that I took at the National Arboretum two years ago as this morning's picture. The rain is battering down here and has been all night I think. Trees are still being whipped about. Definitely not a day for being in the garden.

Good morning LB and all to follow.
LB, you had enough rain for a week. I don't like to see trees whipped. Stay at home and have a lot of warm tea.

Here is nice sunny morning but last few days looked more like autumn. Don't have anything particularly in the plans, just  a lot of jobs for Colonel.😁

Tui, sorry I didn't answer earlier on your question. I don't store all potatoes. I give something to lady who helps me a lot, than there is a family and rest I sell. I didn't believe how quickly you can sell all products grown without any chemistry. Last few years is a huge demand here.

Of course, some new flowers on the end.

Dobro jutro Ante. Yes indeed, litres of rain! Those two lilies are divine. I especially like the speckled one on the left. Do you happen to know its name Ante? I have found a few lily beetles in my garden this year. Its a good job that they are so easy to spot.

LB, name of speckled lily is Netty's Pride. All our bulbs came from Holland, so I think that you can find this lily with the same name in UK. Rose names here and in UK are so different so very often name of the same rose don't have any connections.
This year I didn't see any lily beetle.
