I think you should add a small kitchen knife and a peeler to your wish list Chey.

Good Morning everyone, SM run so i was out early. I was woken up in the early hours by a blood curdling screaming outside, which I found to be a Fox right under our window judging by the smell wafting up 🤥 i then went on to have a very weird dream so not a restful nights sleep 🥴
Hope the engineer resolves your boiler noise today LB,
Lily joining you for a cuppa that’s a cracking idea ☕️
Debs that’s lovely how Maisie enjoys wildlife, she’ll be captivated by the little pond,
Chey a little peeler is very useful to have, I leave the skin on apples when I cook them for dessert that shouldn’t be a problem,
    Have a good day everyone.

Will someone please tell me who has stolen the morning? I thought it was 10:00. I have had a mammoth shredding session and the office is looking slightly less like its just been burgled. It is still yuk outside but at least it isn't precipitating. Just grabbing a cuppa.
p.s. I meant to say how wonderful to hear a fox Chive but perhaps not desirable at that time of day. Sorry your night was disrupted. I am constantly hearing the 'Ps' cronking away in my back garden. I would not like to be woken by that noise though!

Great answers there SGL. Two things that all of you might be aware of but I'm just giving a heads up. On July 4th we have all been asked to put a candle/light in our windows to commemorate all the people who have died from Coronavirus and on July 5th at 17:00 in the afternoon we have been asked to gather for the final 'clap'. This date has been chosen as it is the 75th anniversary of the founding of the NHS. The earlier time (compared to the Thursday nights) is to allow youngsters to join in and then people are being encouraged to meet up with family/friends, still with social distancing, to enjoy cups of tea etc. if they so wish.

Thank you LB, I didn't know anything about the candle or the Clapping.  The 5th of July would have been my sister's birthday too.

Yes it has, quite frightening really.
But then considering the crazy times we're going through at the moment, these months have flown by.
