Good morning everybody. I find it hard to believe that we have been in lockdown for 100 days and we are halfway through 2020 already. You'll never guess what? Oooooh yes, its only raining again this morning. Whatever you are all doing today I hope that the last day of June is good for you.

I made the mistake a month ago of taking advantage of a plant offer from GW. It was for 3 dwarf Verbena Royal Dreams from that notorious and often slated on here - T&M. When the plants arrived, one of them was a stick with all its shoots lying in a detached heap in the pot. I contacted them immediately - with picture, got the usual 'someone will get back to you in 10-14 days'. After 14 days I contacted them again got a similar message, meanwhile the second plant fell apart. Yesterday I got an email saying they were very sorry etc. etc. but they could no longer source the plants and would be giving me a refund. My order was placed on 21.05.20.
I have no doubt that other people may have been happy with their purchases from this company but for me it will be NEVER again! Very disappointing.
p.s. I forgot to say that the refund will take 7-10 days to get back to my Paypal account! Grrrr.

Good Morning LB & all to follow, a 100 days! my goodness that is astonishing,
Thank you so much for all your kind wishes yesterday, it was so nice to go and visit dad together and Doris mums friend too so an emotional day,
LB oh dear raining again 🙄, I must admit I have had mixed results from T&M do you recall the hanging basket plants I ordered earlier this year, they then sent an email apologising that the wrong ones had been sent and would send a replacement. Nothing was received and the original order had already been planted out, so I queried it and they refunded my payment. Now my plants are flowering I can see they are not the exact ones but still pretty. It’s very disappointing when the plants arrive in poor condition, I hope you receive your refund as promised. Glad your boiler service went well yesterday what an excellent chap Ian was, gives you peace of mind.
Hope you all have a good day.

Morning LB and all to follow.
Rant away. I've never bought plants online before this year and I've always heard bad things about T&M Its annoying that they take the money straight away but it takes ages to pay back. Can't take that long to press the button to process it back. Understand up to 3 days to get to your account, but longer is just ridiculous. Haha LB I'm ranting now.
I'm pleased with the rose I bought from the famous rose man but the small fuchsia plants I bought are....well still small really. They're bigger than when they arrived....to be honest they couldn't have been much smaller then!  Oh well I wouldn't bother buying plants like that again. But would definitely buy more Roses from Mr A.
    Time for breakfast.
    See you later

Good morning LB, Chive and all to follow.
It's already end of June. Time does fly. I'm going to nearby city to buy some stuffs for my sister. She will come tomorrow. Thank you for sending me your heatwave . Yesterday was boiling hot.

LB, it's always disappointing when you receive plants in this condition. I think that we all experienced something like this.

Have a nice day you all!

Ooh sorry Chive, you weren't there when I posted earlier.
Hazel, our shielding has been extended......we had a letter from the government last week to say we have to shield till at least 1st August. And if OH didn't have to go back to work then they would suggest 31st  August 😢
Leicester has now another lockdown because of 2nd wave. Wouldn't be surprised after last week's football celebrations, street parties, riots and the congregation on the beach's if could happen in more areas 😣 Plus people are now thinking of going abroad for holidays......and the  14 day quarantine isn't  going ahead 🤷‍♀️

Flippin cold here today and drizzly.
