I've got some hostas with some pretty dodgy names.
    American Halo
    American Dream
    Praying Hands
    Randy Rachel
    Elvis Lives
    Night before Christmas
    Christmas Candy
    Christmas Tree
    Diana remembered
    and many many more

Not a plant name, but when I was young I met a boy who looked good, talked sense, had good manners. I asked him his name.

    Shirley.

Sorry, call me shallow, but I couldn’t cope with a Shirley.

I'm thinking that it might be better if plants were numbered
     e.g. Crocosmia 666,
    pumpkin 31/10
     Cactus 25/12
    Daisy 29/9

Silybum marianum😁. I haven't seen any coming up yet this year though. Normally it self-seeds well. Sticky willies are appearing all over the place though . And my cuttings of Clematis alpina "Willy" are coming on a treat.......

I have a friend named Marion.  Very knowledgable but she always has to be one better.  We would often banter together and one day I thought I'd hit home.  I gave her a sedling of Silybum marianum.  My translation.  Silly bum (a****) Marion.  I never did come to know her thoughts.

Oh dear. I've just come across Hylotelephium 'Stewed Rhubarb Mountain'. I love a bit of stewed rhubarb, but that just does not inspire me.

Too much of a good thing😕 . Had a look. It is sort of the colour of overcooked rhubarb.
