...glad you had a great day... Timeless Purple is one I've had on my list of possibles for over a year now...  and Duchess of Cornwall is another I've often looked at... good to hear about these roses..
oh.. and best of luck with the Parahebe.. delighted that another member now has it too.. this is one really good plant to have in our gardens..

..edhelka / Lizzie... glad my rose is growing on you... let me see how it is for the rest of the season..

Is the climbing version of DA's Graham Thomas known as a finicky so and so, or is it just me? This is the 3rd Summer I've had it and again it looks like it's on course to produce another underwhelming display. It's been fed, watered, and supported, all to no avail.

I've grown it, must be 3 times now..I no longer have it because I had too many yellows, but I miss it.. I've not known this rose to be an issue here apart from blackspot..
... the first time though it did stay as a shrub for as long as I had it, but we didn't know it would climb in those days...  by the end of June it should start to throw out at least 1 long climbing cane for you as that's what mine was doing the last time I had it here..

...young plants are so handsome... before it starts to climb..

...just to say if anyone is interested in the Polyantha rose 'Marie Pavie'... my rose is young and not typical, but on this link to Roseraie Ducher in France, I think you will see better photos of this rose..

...I expect mine to be more like this next year or so..

Really enjoying this thread and your fabulous roses and their companions, Marlorena.

I too love your Parahebe. I intended to order some this year, having admired it last year, but circumstances and all that. On my list for next year!
