Rain glorious rain Oh how Ive missed you
Good morning everyone. Mine came a little later than yours Hazel. I woke up at 02:27 and it was sheeting down outside. One of my nephew's is building me a back gate and is coming up this afternoon to take some measurements. I think I'll take a picture and mark all the measurements on it for him to save him a job as he still cannot shelter in my house. It may stop by then but I really hope not!
Hope you all have great days.

    Morning everyone.
Phewww it was so hot during the evening last night. We still had the patio doors open till about  10 o'clock. And still warm during night. Its cooler this morning, but still quite warm. No sun and quite cloudy. But no rain either. Hope that wasn't our summer!

Good Morning everyone, I was out early to the SM wanted to get that done,
LB A nice project for your nephew, hope he is able to come by weather permitting, it will be nice to have a visit,
Rubee your garden will be nicely refreshed now, typical after recent events but saves you watering for now,
Lily, yes same here very warm and dry, makes it an uncomfortable night,
Hazel your gardens having a good drink too, the weather report for our area says we have a 40% chance of rain between 3.00-4.00pm today 🤨
Hope you have a good day everyone.

Hello Ruby, SGL, Hazel, Chive and Rosie. I've taken a picture of the gate - front and back and sent lots of measurements off to my nephew. Saves him coming round. He's on it already. He is going to paint it pale green - a colour called Seagrass - for me. That will be a bit different to the warm chestnut colour it is now. A colour I still do like a lot but I thought a change might be nice. He's lost his job through the virus situation. The small company he worked for has folded. They used to build stands for exhibitions in the UK and Europe but there hasn't been much call for this recently. This is the nephew who got married in the Lake District last year.
Now I need to think carefully. How many valid excuses can I make to avoid doing activities that will bring Col TT out. Hmmmm. Thinking Face on Google
