Morning Ruby. I am looking forward to getting out. 8 weeks since I last drove the car and after the great job done by the engineers I've got to keep the car ticking over.

    Morning everyone
    Rather chilly again today.
Ante that rose is beautiful, love pink roses. My favourite.
LB, my rose  has lots of new little shoots on it. I'm so excited seeing them start to grow. Hopefully get a few roses on it later in the summer🤞🤗
Can't believe it's Wednesday again already, the days go too quickly.
Must look on line for some anniversary and birthday cards. I got a lovely one on @*@$*n the other day and another from e#$*y both lovely cards, good quality paper too.
    Have a good day everyone

Chive your fil will enjoy his shortbread it’s a nice treat.  Ante the rose is lovely such a nice shade.  LB it’s really good you’ve got your car back ready to go out.  My sister came for a chat yesterday just outside.  She was all wrapped And brought me a sample of loose rooibos tea to try.  It’s a cooler day as with you Lily.   Alfie’s sleeping on the windowsill.  He likes to look out into the garden.  Keep warm and safe today.

Afties all. I have had such a wonderful morning. Saw my Bestie and we had a great catch up (8 weeks worth) and we have decided to get back to our meetings on a Thursday from next week. All weather dependent of course.
SGL, I thought you might be tempted by Ante's pink rose - its a beauty. I've got 6 birthdays and 2 anniversaries coming up. Must get those cards sorted! Rosie, it will have been lovely seeing your sister. I like Rooibos tea too. Cats do love the sunshiny windowsills. Hazel, I hope that you get to see your Mom soon.

Hazel, of course at a distance. We do comply with the recommendations despite it aggravating the heck out of us and Marjorie has her elderly Mum staying with her so we would never put her at risk. Being able to drive out just felt like the hugest freedom and I loved it. Will be putting the Quiz up at about 16:00 today for the Brainiacs who like to have a go.

    Afternoon all.
No real news from this end (again). Finished all the accounts the other day (good to get that done) but I have now have 3 tax returns to submit (1 each for me and OH and 1 for the business). Doesn't usually get done until Autumn but may as well get on with it now - we may be away somewhere exciting in the Autumn....  Pigs may fly....

Spent yesterday afternoon pulling together all the figures so that I should just be able to complete the boxes and was going to do them today. However, my enthusiasm for doing it is well under control and I haven't. Naughty girl.

LB - lovely to hear you were able to meet up with your bestie. Unfortunately all my friends & family either live too far away or are continuing with self isolation due to either their or their partner's health issues. One exception is my (elderly 😬) friend and neighbour. She's been desperate for us to meet up for weeks so no doubt we'll sit in one of our gardens when the weather warms up again. Either that or deckchairs across the driveway.

Quiz looks interesting - definitely don't know some of those.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down
