Morning all. â›… looks half & half cloud/sun today.
Oooh Ruby, yummy mints you have there. I've never heard of the banana one before, gonna google it. I have the pineapple and think the leaves on it look fab.

Think I'm about a week behind on GW, have to catch it when I can on iPlayer. No Eurovision party here this year, we might watch the alternative show but it won't be the same without the rest of the gang.😞

The forecast is showing double figure night-time temps for the foreseeable. Time to start planning for the big plant out.🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱🌱.

    Hi everyone,
Had tea and toast, feel a better after my cup of tea 😉😄
Debs those mints sound lovely, must have a go at some of those when I can get out😣
Sorry to hear Chey has been back in hospital, hope you're feeling better now. Take care.
    Beautiful clematis everyone, gorgeous colours.
    Love the board game LB😂
    Oh heck minds gone blank
Hope the weather improves, it's very cold and cloudy here.
Can anyone remember who did the lovely pot display by putting 4 or 5 pots on top of one another. Really wanted to do that this year, hopefully I'll be able to get to the garden centre at some point. Just wanted a reminder of sizes.....and would love to see the display this year. Probably won't be able to do a summer one, but might be in time for an autumn/winter one.
Hope all people in the quiet corner are well.

Morning Debs, SGL, Kitty, Ruby and Chive. Debs, you were busy at your allotment the other day so it must be filling up nicely now. Lots of produce to look forward to later on this year. Kitty (and SGL) I saw the news about the Eurovision programme tonight and the Ts will be missing all of the fun and atmosphere of latter years. Never mind, at least SOMETHING will be on TV. SGL, you must have missed it the other day on page 18 but someone else asked about the tipsy pots and it was Kitty who did them.

Hi Lily. Tipsy pots? My method was a length of copper pipe (plumbing?) Pushed into solid ground and then stacked the pots on through the drainage holes. I had to drill the holes a bit bigger on the smaller pots.
Will go and check the EV numbers on my pots which indicate which sizes I used for you.

There's loads of images and methods online if you google "tipsy pots ideas".

Morning everyone.  Kitty, Lovely clematisand it was good to look at your lovely garden. I hope Chey will soon be out of hospital.  Get well soon.  LB apparently Debenhams was opened yesterday in certain regions.  I think it best to stay home though.  Lily I have a peony in a medium sized pot but it hasn’t flowered as yet, fingers crossed.  Chive how is the bee house coming along and we made Briochein the bread maker which was nice just adding 75 grams of butter and 200mls of milk on a light bake.  Have a good day everyone.

Pot sizes from bottom to top.
31, 25, 23, 16, 15, 11. Terracotta pots all from wilko and are stamped EV31 etc... on the rim. Dunno if that's a standard size marking.

A couple of snaps taken just now. First of all six pots in their stack.

This one shows the pipe at the top.

Gosh Kitty, thanks again for giving us all the information about that lovely pot stack. Its a great way to give height in the garden as well as finding uses for any terracotta pots you may have hanging about.
Morning Rosie, I've paeonies that have been in my garden for YEARS and never flowered. I think I should move them but I'm nervous of doing that.
