Morning all - have been having all sorts of problems getting back on to the site since yesterday afternoon. Still unable to log in (I never log out...) on iPad & even desktop was playing silly b's yesterday.

Not much to report (again) but the sun is shining and it's nice and warm so I'm off outside to play in the garden. Need to shift a couple of compost bins from out front to a new home out back where they'll get more use.

Well done all on the food quiz last night - did see it but couldn't participate.

Exploding hoses - that sounds very messy Rubee😬 Hope there's no lasting damage. We occasionally attach a hose to the tap in the utility room and I remember when that connection failed and water was jetted all over the utility room for a couple of minutes before we realised what had happened. Fortunately it all dried fairly quickly with the back door open.

Didn't know that cats were scared of snakes LB. Remember seeing a baby adder disappear down a hole in the garden once. So did the resident cat. He sat patiently by the hole for about 2 hours waiting for it to reappear. It never did.  Some cats are very patient. Head bowed - staring intently.

Morning TBird . Adders in the garden how interesting . The most interesting creatures we get in our garden are hedgehogs .
Hazel I understand your concern .Because OH has so many health issues and needs a bed that will not put too much pressure on his legs and joints , we have two thick mattress toppers on our bed .
For me getting into bed was a real problem .I tried the Western Roll , the scissor jump . I ended up with the Fosbury Flop. I just turn my back to the bed and launch myself backwards . I have become quite the expert , never missed the bed once .😳😂.

Morning Hazel and T'Bird. Oh Ruby, you have given me the best laugh of today! I love the description of you getting into bed

Good Morning Hazel, Rubee & Tbird,
Hazel the new mattress topper sounds really comfy, fingers crossed for the greenhouse assemby you both sound like an experienced team to tackle it,
Topbird sorry to hear you’re having problems with logging in rather frustrating. Hope all goes well with the compost bins relocation today,
Rubee you’re variety of ways to get onto the bed really made me smile, all sounds very athletic 😅 hope the clear up after your hose explosion yesterday doesn’t create any more problems,

Hazel the 2 toppers make a big difference. The only problem is I don’t want to get out of bed

We have lovely mattress toppers in the motorhome. Beds in m/homes and caravans are always rock hard for some reason and we wouldn't be without them. Unyielding beds play havoc with my back. MIL's spare bed is like that. Can anybody think of a tactful way to suggest she invests in a high quality thick topper?🙄

Hazel Oh crumbs the weather is stopping you now! It depends whether they can open safely for reception, Year 1 & 6 whilst meeting all the guidelines for distancing etc. We are expecting to return in June but will have to see, it’s all going to be completely different now.

Afternoon.  I had updates last night and couldn’t sign in gw.  Hope you’re all okay.  Lily’s tv today so as the possibility of Col TT being eaten with soldiers we are all okay :) perhaps.

Finally managed to sign in on iPad - hooray! (nothing to do with updates for me Rosie - think it must have been the site).

Just had Mr & Mrs Duck drinking and bathing in the watering tray.🤗

That sounds very sweet T'Bird. Neighbour across the road has promised to send me some pictures of the 14 ducklings but nothing has arrived as yet. She did confess to being tech useless. As for the MIL, I have no idea how expensive mattress toppers are but could you buy her one for C*******s? Just a thought.
