I’ll happily swap for some rain LB the Essex clay is becoming concrete, it sounds like the chives are going in the right direction,
Lily it was a bottle of something so nearly there 😀 I always thought LOL meant lots of love some of these acronyms are tricky, IMHO had me stumped for a while.
In case you’re wondering, I decided to make another cup of tea and sat down again 😬

Haha LB, no definitely not  Donald 😂😂

My sister always thought LOL meant lots of love Chive. Although I didn't know at first.
I can remember her sending me some texts....on completely different days.......and ended with LOL.  I wondered for a couple of weeks why she would be laughing at some of the texts she sent me. So one day on the phone I asked her.....and had to tell her it was laugh out loud 😂😂

I've heard some people actually say ASAP..........😕😉

Lily the carpet is drying out thank you . It’s so cold here we have the heating on anyway and that is helping to dry the carpet. I have a friend who gets a lot of crucial words wrong in a sentence . She doesn’t care but she has everyone in hysterics. I wouldn’t dare print any of  her quotes on here .

SGL, I've heard people say ASAP - Ay sap. Its usually on American programmes and I really dislike it. Ruby, after the contraception for spiders earlier, I can only imagine what you friend says! I'm glad I'm not the only one who has cold weather today.

    Afternoon All,
Rubee good news the carpet is drying something to be said for having the heating on, I hope it doesn’t take too long.
Hazel what a difference the topper has made for your OH that’s fabulous news, now the greenhouse will soon be done weather permitting 🤗
LB Yes agreed saying ASAP grates with me too. Some of the accidental versions of words are better, my dad always called a machete a matchit I cannot call it anything else now and Woodlice are always ballies.

My Ozzie brother, when he was little, use to call a radiator a radio-rater and a lawn mower, a moon low-ver. He has never lived those down. He had trouble with 'beaker' too. Called it a geeker.

I remember my younger  brother going out for the day with my uncle and they went past Man-is-ter Hair-p-port ( Manchester Airport). It has been called that ever since in our family.

We are busy at work but very short on supplies, so I found that I was having to hang around waiting for a delivery and took an unexpected half a shift off. I came home and painted the outside of the house,  the garage and the shed, then I laid a lawn and started to build a pond....................don't worry it was all for the garden. Revamping the fairy house I made a few years ago.
Photos will follow when it is finished.

Hope you are all safe and well.

Hello Pauline, good to see you. I love the name for the airport. Its funny how these things stay in our memories. I was getting hugely impressed with your list of jobs and then I read about the fairy house. I still have mine.
