Good morning everybody. Goodness me Hazel, you've had a very broken night. I hope that you have managed to get back to sleep again. Well its pouring down here - for which my garden is truly grateful - and it looks as though it will be continuing like this for some time.
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Good morning everyone. Back to work yesterday but a quiet day and today I am off, it’s sunny and I am going to GC with my sister later. She has a new raised bed and wants help planting it up. She is a complete novice and wants low maintenance pretty stuff. Easy enough as it’s a site in full sun most of the day and she is buying topsoil. Looking forward to it. Just read back and hope I didn’t freak people out about the rat, my son was 4 at the time and Dracula would sit on his shoulder and groom him. She was a sweetie. Never once bit anyone whereas the adorable balls of fluff that are Russian hamsters bite hard and often! My boys had most rodents at one time or another. Rats were definitely my favourite.
Morning everyone Looks like it could be another sunny day. I had that sent to me via WhatsApp LB, it's brilliant isn't it. I would have no idea how to put it on here. Debs my youngest son had a Russian hamster when he was young. Such a sweet pretty little thing. Although I slept really well last night, I still feel rather tired. Hope you got some sleep in the end Hazel. Have you much left to do building the greenhouse? Have I misunderstood......but you not building it in the garden? Need a cup of tea, have a good day everyone TTFN
Good Morning LB & Debs, Lily and all to follow, Oh Hazel what a rotten night you had, hope you are catching up on your 💤’s now, LB that’s a lovely piece of music I love the lyrics that’s excellent. Dare I say we have clear skies and sunshine this morning, Debs have a nice trip to the garden centre with your sister, I’m sure you’ll make some good choices together. Lily it is strange how sleep can leave you feeling tired the next day I know what you mean, will your eldest poppet be at school after the half term? Enjoy your day everyone.
Oh heck where has the sun gone. It was beautiful this morning when I woke up. Now I've washed all the bedding and it's on the line, it's cold grey and cloudy 😭😭 Chive, we're not sure if the school is opening at the moment for eldest poppet. I'm personally hoping that even if it does, her mummy and daddy won't send her. Her mummy is a teacher or I should say was before she had 2nd poppet.....of primary school age anyway. So Poppet one won't fall behind. I'm worried about all the others at school, my dil going to take and pick her up. Then there's 2nd poppet to think about too. Little ones of that age will forget about not getting close to their friend. And then there's all the parents at the school taking/picking them up. 🤷♀️🤷♀️ I also feel June is far too early for them to even think about opening schools. Still too many people dying every day. Such worrying times.
