Hello again. I've had a drive round the block to keep car ticking over and I've made some ginger biscuits - courtesy of a replacement item from 'sco last week. I do not possess a man shaped cutter though
SGL, I'm with you in puzzling about Hazel's GH. I thought that they were building it in situ. Come on Hazel we need to know! Chive I think that is the only piece of opera I like - it always reminds me of the World Cup but isn't he a clever man with a beautiful voice?

Take care Hazel. See you soon. I missed your post whilst I was typing mine.

Morning all. Tasty looking baking pics Chive and LB. 😋
I don't "do" baking... I just eat all the stuff him and the girls make. 😆

Hope the GH build goes well Hazel, looking forward to seeing the pics when you're back. 👍
If it's anything like mine the instructions did say to build the windows and door first, think it's so they're ready to pop in when the frame is up.?

Started planting out yesterday, nowhere near finished.
Have a good day everyone. 🌻

Problems getting on line this morning folks.  LB those heart shaped ginger biscuits look good.  I can almost taste them.  It’s a breezy day today.  Had a walk with dad yesterday to stretch our legs and get some fresh air.  We both had a sit down on a bench on the way back to appreciate the view.  It was quite a warm day.  I was late to rise this morning feeling quite snuggly.

Hazel, all the best with the GH build I hope it all goes to plan and we can see the finished article. Hope to see you back again soon,
LB Ooh yum those ginger biscuits look good, making my mouth water 😋 Hearts are better, I don’t like biting the head off a little man 😀 glad the car is going well,
Lily I share your concerns about the children’s safe return to school, if I had a young child I’d chose not to send them in. Our school has put together a very good plan to bring those early years back but it’s not going to be easy. I’m feeling very nervous about the whole situation,
Kitty I’m very good at the eating, it’s very much trial and error but I will eat the mistakes too 😀 you have made a lovely garden with all your hard work,
Rosie sounds like a nice walk with your dad yesterday it’s good to get out for a little while, enjoy your day,
I’ve manage to break an outside light while cleaning this morning 🙄 next i was going to descale the kettle, not sure that’s a good idea it could mean no tea 😕

Suns come out and I've just finished cutting the grass again, give it a couple of hours and it'll look tufty again. 😕
Is it a big job to descale a kettle Chive? How is it done, a soak, a scrub? Genuine question from a soft water 'softy'. I think I'd need a back-up kettle if mine was out of commission for any length of time. 😆

    Afternoon everyone,
Im watching the daisies & buttercups grow here @Kitty 2 , the grass is like hay it’s so dry. Yes I did the kettle, we buy a packet of solution that is poured into it after boiling and it fizzes the limescale away, a couple of rinses and it’s back in action ☕️👍

Oooh that sounds easier than I imagined Chive. 😃
You read horror stories about it fuzzing up inside the guts of washing machines and shower heads etc.
Still sat in my 'den' with a brew here. Really should get up and do something.😉

I’ve not tried it in anything else but it is very easy to use. No stay put Kitty sounds just perfect where you are 😊
