Chive fil will be pleased to receive his parcel.  What a nice surprise it will be.  Topbird let’s just hope many businesses are able to get going again and furloughing saves many jobs.  Hazel good luck with the hair clippers today quite a necessity in recent times.  LB love the cartoon.  Ante it’s sad to see students go under some circumstances.

Afties all. T'Bird, your description of the shopping centre brought apocalyptic, zombie type films into my head (I confess I have never actually seen a zombie type film - just seen trailers on Mark Kermode's programmes). I bet it felt really spooky hearing your footsteps echoing off the walls of the buildings. I feel so sorry for all the small, independent retailers who have possibly sunk all their money into an enterprise just to have it go under because of this virus. It must be heartbreaking for them. I just feel very lucky indeed. I forgot to ask the other day, did you get all your paper work finished? That must be a job you are pleased to complete.
Hazel, don't let you OH see the back of his head! - only joking. Once you've done it a few times he need never go to the barber's again. Handy brother is desperate for a haircut. Thats good news about Dobbies, but going from what I said earlier I won't be rushing to visit a GC.
The bird feeders I filled this morning are now, thanks to the squabbly starlings, empty! I'm hoping that these new squirrel/large bird proof seed feeders will baffle them. Much as I love them all I do want my little birds to get a look in.

Afternoon everyone, a tin of shortbread is on it’s way to FIL, he does things like that for us so i hope it will be a nice surprise.
Rubee I didn’t realise that about the big river site that’s very handy to know, 😊
LB Poor Chey he really has had a rotten time, best wishes to him. That was an early delivery!, i hope the new feeder is successful for the little birds to enjoy,
Lily a busy day for you, nice to get an empty green bin so you can start filling it up again there’s always more waiting,
Hazel Did you recreate the whole hairdresser experience during OH’s trim, Cup of coffee and a chat 😀
Topbird your walk through the town centre sounds really eerie!
Our little town had a few folks out walking, but most seemed to be passing in cars.
Rosie Alfie was tunnelling into your bed this morning, they do like all the best spots don’t they 😊

Yoo hoo Chive. Are you back from the PO yet and did you see any plants? With the talk of gifts and wrapping its reminded me I've a lot of birthdays and wedding anniversaries coming up so I'll have to visit the Moonpig site.
p.s. you weren't there when I posted Chive! I absolutely LOVE shortbread. What a smashing gift for your FIL!

LB We crossed paths then! me too I like shortbread I just hope he doesn’t end up with lots of broken biscuits when they arrive. No plants purchased after all, mainly bedding types which I don’t have any room for.
Hazel I’m sure OH was pleased to have his hair tidied up, it’s a lot of responsibility to cut someone’s hair and you have to be seen out with him 😉

Ha ha ha Chive, look what you've started now. Hazel will be scrutinising her handiwork to make sure she won't MIND being out with her OH.

I've just got my lamp set up in my bedroom window for the big turn on at 20:30. I suppose that they picked that time hoping it would get dark fairly quickly afterwards. Then we'll be able to see everyone's lights more clearly.
