Debs, is it lovely having your son with you or is he eating you out of house and home? I have 3 brothers and when we were all at home it was like living with a swarm of locusts. Middle brother was called (rather unglamorously but in fun), 'The Dustbin' as he would eat everything that we other children didn't like and left on our plates - ooh all except cauliflower! He drew the line at that.

I didn't do too bad with the quiz. Thank you LB.
    Bit late in doing
    anything this morning,
Must get a wriggle  on and start with hoovering the stairs.....sorry TT, it's got to be done.
Would love to go to  GC,
    But not allowed out, so
    Will probably have

LB to be fair he buys his own food for meals but I am buying much more bread and milk than I usually do! He eats with us a few times a week but in between caters for himself and he has grown out of that “ teenage boy eats his own weight in food daily “ stage.
The laminate looks good I wouldn’t have the patience, one piece had to be cut and recut 8 times! Day off for both of us today and then tomorrow he will gloss woodwork and paint ceiling and walls I think it will look lovely. Hall is finished it’s the landing next I hope the landlords appreciate all our hard work. I am off to the allotment first thing tomorrow to plant out my courgettes.
Ante one of those rolls still warm with butter please!

You have been busy in your week off Debs but well done on getting all of that under way. I'm sure that the landlords will appreciate it, after all it is saving them the job.

Chive I’m so glad to hear your son is fully recovered.  LB it was great that you could catch up with friends.  Hazel well done with the knitting.  Ante the rolls look tempting.  Debs sounds like things are coming together with the decorating.  Lily have a good day.  LB the streptocarpus looks lovely.  It’s windy but the sun has come out.

Afternoon everyone,  I'm glad your son is better Chive, you must be relieved.  Debs I think you right about avoiding some of the threads they can be quite stressful and non of us need that at the moment.  I've been out in the garden this morning clearing up the pond a bit and some of the borders.  Didn't get any frost and all the plants are fine so watered them well, I hadn't watered for two days because of the frost forecast, cold is bad enough but wet and cold isn't to be recommended.  Could have done with some of those shoes on my last trip to the SM to kick a few people with, don't know where some of them went to school but the maths teachers couldn't have been up to much.  Did anyone see what Birmingham council have done re mowing 2 metre paths in the parks and outdoor spaces I think it is a really good idea.
