Advice please all you Clematis loving Rezzers. I need one for an obelisk, it’s inside 50cms diameter pot but no bottom in pot and it’s standing on soil. Summer flowering for a sheltered sunny spot with shade at the base. Purple or blue? Readily available? Any suggestions?Ā

Just Ā noticed the quiz Ā . I think that you ladies have pretty well covered it .
Had a bit of a problem with the hose this afternoon .We haven’t got an outside Ā tap . We have to bring the hose from the kitchen through the sitting room and then into the garden through the cat run . I turned the tap on went outside and turned the hose on and it exploded . There was a huge tear in the hose . The sitting room carpet , the artificial grass in the cat run and myself were soaked.it took quite some time to sort it .My feet are still cold .

Debs another gorgeous rhodie - along with busy visitor. Clematis Multi Blue is a nice one Debs. You could take a look at that one. It is readily available too. Oh my goodness Ruby, I have never heard of a hose exploding before. I hope that there was not too much damage done. Were the cats in the run when this happened? If they were I cannot imagine them being too impressed.
