Morning Chive! Yes it was really lovely to get out yesterday. Thoroughly enjoyed everything. Good to hear that your son is now completely recovered. Well done T'Bird for getting the paperwork done - and being motivated (possibly, maybe??) to do the next lot.

Good morning all. Sunny day here and I think we avoided frost. Been a difficult few days but life goes on and I am planning a trip to garden centre later. Thanks for all your kind words I am sticking to this thread and those about gardening for now I think that’s best. Sounds like you have all been busy and keeping well which is great to hear.
i spent most of yesterday helping fiancé lay new floor in bathroom, cutting laminate to fit around a toilet and sink is no fun is it?

    Good morning all!

Chive, I'm so glad that your son is recovered. It's a huge relief to you.

Debs, enjoy visiting GC. I'll go next week if I catch free time.

Rubee, nice that you protected your plants. After rain, here is warm again, but I'm still afraid to plant my tomatoes out, up in the hills.

Now I'll have my cup of tea, and begin with work. Afternoon is reserved for cottage.

Lovely photo LB, but I also have one. They are the reason that I came little bit late here this morning. Anyone wants one? They are freshly baked.

Morning Ruby; Debs and Ante. Debs, it is really lovely to see you back and I agree about cutting laminate to fit around the various pedestals in the bathroom. Nightmare! When I laid the carpet tiles (hate loathe and despise them now!) in my kitchen I had a little bit of shaping to do to them and the hardboard I laid underneath. The air was slightly purple! It didn't make the job any easier but I felt better!
Well done on the plant protection Ruby. Mine are still in the greenhouse. I didn't bring them out yesterday as I was going on my freedom trip.
Ante, those bread rolls look fantastic, I'm on my way - after I've had another cup of tea - nectar of the Gods!
