    Oh no @Nanny Beach, that must have been awful. That would have made me cry. 

    @Dovefromabove, I lived in Cornwall for about 9 months over 20 years ago and all the locals I got to know were very friendly and kind hearted. 

    At least it was very easy to block my card on the banking app and cancelling it as well and I have a back up card.

    Had just taken some Brunnera plants up to the woodland, when I noticed the trail of devastation. The Deer must have been back last night.
    Floods all winter, terrible frost last week, now this. perhaps someone is trying to tell me something.

    we had one in our garden on Sunday. Mercifully , there are plenty of folk  round here to assist it into the freezer
